FAQs

Nano Minerals

What's Does Nano Mean?

Nano technology, the branch of technology that deals with dimensions and tolerances of less than 100 nanometres, is changing the face of medicine.

Norio Taniguchi, a Professory of Science at Tokyo University was the first to use this phrase when describing such small particles. The term “nano” comes from ancient Greek and means “dwarf” (nános = dwarf)

What's Different about Nano Minerals to other Supplements?

When the minerals are this small, the body can see radically improved absorption and, in the case of traditionally aggravating supplements like iron, zero digestive discomfort.

The Health Factory are the first to bring nano sized minerals into the world of natural health. We believe this is the most cutting edge mineral supplementation on the market.

When is the best time to take Nano Minerals?

Ensure NO food or drink is consumed for at least 30 minutes before taking the Nano Minerals. The reason is that food or drink will fill the spaces of the soft tissue and oral mucosa of the mouth.

Can I mix Nano Minerals?

Take the nano minerals individually. If you want to mix them, the nano minerals MUST be decanted into a GLASS (no plastic) and consumed immediately as the particles can begin to coalesce. DO NOT STIR.

You can also take them one after the other.

What are the Nano Mineral bottles made of?

The nano minerals are packaged in special dark violet glass bottles.

They are made of a sophisticated dark violet coloured glass.

The violet colour permits infrared and UV-A light to pass through, which protects and energizes the contents.

The bottles isolate the contents from harmful energy/radiation from the outside.

They help prevent oxidization and preserve nutritional value.

I want to take more than one Nano mineral, how can I do that?

The Nano Minerals can be taken one after the other. Best to take on an empty stomach, 20-30 minutes before food. Hold in the mouth for a minute or so before swallowing (ideal is to swish it around in the mouth). Always read the label.

Who Invented Nano Minerals?

The Health Factory and it's groundbreaking products was created by Dutch health pioneer Steven de Koenigswarter. You can watch a video of him speaking here.

Nano Iron

Is Nano Iron good at raising Ferretin levels?

The increase of Ferritin levels when taking Nano Iron is not commensurate to the Iron increase in the blood which is seen in conventional Iron supplementation; This is because it goes into all the cells and is used immediately. (With Conventional supplements its more likely to go into the blood and not necessarily be used, thus the increase shown on tests but not necessarily the improvement you’d expect in energy etc. Also because a conventional supplement is not as “usable” by the body it can have a lot of other side effects such as constipation, etc.)

This does not in anyway detract from the efficiency of the Nano Iron being utilised for replenishment in the body.

If for instance someone was eating Liver or a similar organic source of very bioavailable iron (Iron is stored in the Liver in the form of Nano sized iron particles) it would a similar situation. The person’s iron levels would increase and they would feel much better but as the iron is being absorbed into the cells rather than just being in the blood, it would not show up on the tests to the same extent as with more conventional iron supplements.

The only time you would be concerned is if there is NO increase in ferritin levels, in which case that may be a sign of a different type of problem.

In terms of whether you should use Nano Iron due to having low Ferritin levels, yes this would be a good reason to assume you need Nano Iron and begin a course of it.

How much Nano Iron should I take per day?

If your health professional has recommended you take 15 mg of a regular Iron supplement, the amount you will actually absorb and be able to use will equate to approximately 30 – 35 ml of Nano Iron on an empty stomach.

If your health professional has recommended you take 20 to 30 mg of a regular Iron supplement, the amount you will actually absorb and be able to use will equate to approximately 30 – 35 ml of Nano Iron TWICE A DAY on an empty stomach.

In severe cases, you can take 90 – 120 ml a day under the supervision of a health care professional without overdosing or causing any damage, and with no side effects.

Children: 0-2 years 5 ml per day (1 teaspoon)
2-6 years 10 to 15 ml per day (1 to 2 teaspoons)
6-12 years 20 ml per day (2 to 3 teaspoons)

Can I take Nano Iron while pregnant?

Yes, Iron can be taken whilst pregnant or breastfeeding.

What is the difference between Nano Iron and other Iron Supplements in terms of dosage and usability?

The key differences between Nano Iron and regular iron supplements are:

Dosage:

  • Nano Iron is fully absorbed so lower doses are needed compared to regular iron supplements.
  • 30-60ml Nano Iron may equal a 15-30mg dose of regular iron supplement.

Usability:

  • Nano Iron is 100% elemental iron that is fully bioavailable, unlike regular supplements that have low absorption.
  • Regular supplements are iron compounds bound to salts that must be broken down and absorbed.
  • Nano Iron nanoparticles directly enter cells so are used more efficiently.
  • Regular iron supplements often cause side effects like nausea, constipation etc. Nano Iron does not.

Will Nano Iron cause constipation, nausea, black stools?

No it will not. Because Nano iron is not digested in the gut but enters the blood stream through the soft tissues in the mouth and digestive system, it does not cause any disbalance in your gut or any issues with constipation, nausea and black stools. These are caused by normal iron supplements because these are broken down in the gut and specifically end up feeding bad bacteria or patheogens that live in the gut. This then results in digestive issues.

Nano Magnesium

Can you take Magnesium with heart medication?

Yes you can, but it must be taken with a three hour gap and started in small doses. There are no known interactions. Start with 5 ml Nano Magnesium per day for one week and build up in 5 ml increments until you reach 20 to 30 ml a day.

What kind of Magnesium is this? Bisglucanate, Sulfate, Citrate, etc

We believe that this magnesium is the only one on the market that is NOT in a compound. Its not a bisglycinate, not a citrate, not a sulphate, etc. It’s pure (100% pure) magnesium in water and as a result of that, and the tiny particle size, the product can go directly into the blood stream and can be used by your body wherever you need it

How much Nano Magnesium Should I take?

If your health professional has recommended a dosage of 200mg of a regular Magnesium supplement, the amount you will actually absorb and be able to use will equate to approximately 30–40ml of Nano Magnesium.

If your health professional has recommended you take 300 mg of a regular Magnesium supplement, the amount you will actually absorb and be able to use will equate to approximately 50–60ml of Nano Magnesium.

In severe cases, you can take 90–120ml a day under the supervision of a health care professional without overdosing or causing any damage, and with no side effects. For Children: 0-2 years 5 ml per day (1 teaspoon)
2-6 years 10 to 15 ml per day (1 to 2 teaspoons)
6-12 years 20 ml per day (2 to 3 teaspoons)

Nano Zinc

How much Nano Zinc should I take?

If your health professional has recommended you take 15 mg of a regular Zinc supplement, you could equate the amount you will actually absorb and be able to use from this to: approximately 30 – 40ml of Nano Zinc.

If you have been recommended to take 20 mg of a regular Zinc supplement, this would be converted to about 40-50 ml of Nano Zinc.

In severe cases of Zinc deficiency, you can take 50 to 60 ml of Nano Zinc a day without overdosing or causing any damage, and with no side effects.

Children:
0-2 years 5 ml per day (1 teaspoon)
2-6 years 10 to 15 ml per day (1 to 2 teaspoons)
6-12 years 20 ml per day (2 to 3 teaspoons)

I want the Nano Zinc spray, where can I find it?

The Manufacturer has recently changed the labeling on the Zinc spray to give it 3 different names, Skin Spray, Baby Spray and Eye spray, due to the many and varied use of the Nano Zinc when applied topically (both on the skin, in the eyes, particularly for dry eye, for rashes and skin eruptions, on baby’s bums, etc). However all of these products are all the Nano Zinc in a spray bottle and can be used for any of the reasons you’d use the Nano Zinc topically. All can be topped up using the Nano Zinc 500ml or 1 Litre bottle.
